holy crap the car was fast and i'm a dumbass.
I took three weeks off to work on the car and when i get
back into the car it is fast and i forgot how to drive, not that
i did such a great job of it before, but i couldnt even blame that damm button. Inside joke. every time i redlight i blame the transbrake button. So all in all the car is fast, with tweeking the suspension and getting some seat time should be a force to be recond with. next race is the 16th and 17 th of july hope to see you all there

Not enough hours in the day!

Ethan has all the parts he needs to get his motor back together. Now he just needs time to do it. Won't be long and he will be back at the drag strip decimating all.

No racing this weekend

I won't be racing this weekend, 6-5-2010. The motor is back together, but still need some work done on the torque converter. Hopefully this will get done next week.

Friday Night

The car ran great and my best time was 11.93. Best time so far this season. Ethan will be running the car Saturday night. Should be fun, come out and say HI.

Saturday was great. The weather couldn't have been better. The car ran great. Best time was 12.02. Everything is coming together. Hope to be in the 11's soon.

Still working on making the Brown Beast go faster!

Yesterday the car ran consistant 12.10's. Found a issue with the alignment. The motor ran flawlessly. Very cold, but no rain.

When Mike started checking the car out there was good news and bad news. The good news is the tranny was fine. The bad news was 6 bent push rods. Friday was hectic tearing the car apart and replacing roller rocker arms with last years stamped steel rocker arms. Now shes ready to go.

This year hasn't gotten off to a good start for Ethan and his Nova. He had to have the tranny rebuilt and discovered his cam had a flat lobe. He is waiting on the block and the new cam. As soon as the parts get here he will get them installed and then will be racing.

First pass of the day. Car feels good and its great to be back at the strip.

Test & Tune 2010

First day at the strip in 2010. Made a few passes and the car seemed to run great. Best time was 12.19. Made some adjustments and then started having tranny problems. Will tear it apart this week and see whats going on.
